Sisters, this is an update of previous articles we did at Souls of Black Women, 1st Edition blog, regarding the woman who was killed by a female LAPD officer, allegedly. Alesia Thomas died as result of police brutality. Many times when black women experience police brutality, no one says a thing, not even many within the black community. This time, Mary O’Callaghan, a female officer has been charged for 'assaulting handcuffed woman' and now is pleading guilty.
