Sisters, Lindsay Bien-Aime was allegedly dragged off of an airplane for not turning off her cell phone. Now it was all recorded on a You Tube video and in our opinion, Bien Aime seemed to not know why police were approaching her. Whatever the case, no human being deserves to be dragged from anywhere, especially in front of her young son.
According to http://www.wcnc.com, the crew called for help to have Capri Bien-aime removed, and in the video it shows her becoming combative with authorities and passengers around her. However, we cannot tell she was being violent, all we know is there was a voice of a woman shouting at the officers to be careful of her child, nearby. Possibly, if she was being combative as they claim, this is simply the reason why, she was protecting her own child. Now, this young boy will probably remember this for the rest of his life and this may effect how he relates with white people in our American society and we blame the officers for it.
Furthermore, as this should teach all black women to learn how to respect and love one another, because as you can see, we still face alleged racism in America.
As you know, even in this era, we as black women face some of the most racist situations and most of our race don't like to discuss or even admit it. However, Bien-Aime being forced to get off of a flight, after refusing to turn off her cell phone reveals this could be a racial situation. There are better ways to deal with passengers on a flight, not use physical force, which is against the law. They could have just requested the phone and gave it back to her when she exited the plain, just that simple.
