Update, Black Women: Councilwoman Winslow not quitting after DUI arrest

One of the best things about this Atlanta Councilwoman is that she is very courageous, even after making a foolish mistake.  Councilwoman Cleta Winslow is sure teaching us black women something, 'don't be afraid to move forward in life and show your face in public, after you have made a mistake.'  Why?  Because we are all human and we must never stop, no matter if what we did was wrong.

We want you intelligent readers of Souls of Black Women blog to know we may not understand why she, along with Amanda Davis would get behind the wheel of a car while drunk, but we've learned something positive about Winslow..   So many times, some of us black women may have stopped going to school or even stopped being employed on the jobs after we made a mistake or there was dispute, because people were watching us.  However, it takes a lot of strength to not quit and this is a very positive trait  we noticed about Councilwoman Winslow.  Let all of us black women who know Christ pray for Him to strengthen us, even after we made wrong choices in life.   Let us pray He teaches us how to not give up and move forward in life.  Also, we pray God teaches us how to ignore people, if we should return in to our workplace or college.  Realize this fact black women, we end up with less in life, when we quit.
