Sisters, this three-year-old girl, Aisha Brown was shot while just simply sitting on her balcony. We are living in an age when our we cannot feel our children our safe while enjoying outdoors. Do you recall back in the early days when we were young kids and we could step outside with our friends? It wasn't like this, but nowadays young kids like Aisha can't even enjoy their own balconies, very sad.

As intelligent black women, you have to be concern about what is going on within our communities across the nation. When young children get shot, it's time for us to step up and send a message we will not take anymore of this mess. Little Aisha is a miracle, but she could be dead by now, sisters. Let us approach the city council and legislatures and insist on stricter laws in cities and states. Enough is enough!!
In the meantime, we will keep Aisha Brown in our prayers and we thank God she is yet alive.

WASHINGTON -A 3-year-old girl from Southeast Washington is recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg as police release surveillance video from cameras that captured the shooting and two suspects in the act Thursday night.
An older brother says Aisha Brown was still being cared for at Children's Hospital Friday.
