The former CEO of Essence magazine finally opens up about her departure from the legendary publication. Allegedly, Martha Nelson, the editor-in-chief of Time Inc. desired to limit the realistic character of black women, according to our good friend, thechurchladyblogs.com. Remember sisters, this is why we agree with diversity to a certain extent, but not to where it is taking from who we are as authentic black women.
