Black women, family seeks justice for woman killed in hit-and-run | Souls of Black Women

family seeks justice woman hit and run

Nikki Ogunjemilusi, a native of Nigeria was struck by a vehicle while she and her friend were about to go to a club. Her friend says she felt a strong wind right before her friend was killed and left to die. A witness claims it was a sedan that hit her and kept going. Sometimes, when a driver does a hit and run, they are driving under the influence, for whatever reason, it doesn't make sense. There is never an excuse to hit a human being with a vehicle and keep on going. Black women, please be careful a lot of these drivers do not care and drive recklessness.
Although, this is not the first time, we are hearing of such a tragedy in Atlanta, hit-and-run accidents occur across the nation, all the time. Ogunjemilusi's case is not the first and we are afraid it won't be the last. However, there is something you can do to protect yourself, black women. We want to forewarn you not to be so close to the curb and always...
