Black Women: Mother in Patrick Alford admits missing son is dead

Sisters, this is a sad case where this courageous mother has accepted deep within her heart her son must be dead.  Patrick Alford disappeared from foster care  about 3 years ago.  We recall this case being shown on America's Most Wanted.  In our opinion, she is very strong to accept what may be true.

Many black women deal with their missing children different ways.  Some may want to believe their child is yet alive, although they have been missing for several years and others like Jennifer Rodriguez feel within their heart something very tragic happened to their child.

According to NYDailyNews.com, Patrick Alford Jr. was 7 when vanished without a trace on Jan. 22, 2010 from an apartment building in East New York, Brooklyn, after taking out the trash for his foster mom, Librada Moran. Believe us, parents know when their child has passed away, because they bore the child.  This is one of many stories that remind us of Kevin Collins who went missing in San Francisco, many years ago.  According to CBS.com, Collins has been missing since 1984.  

In the meantime, will keep our dear sister, Jennifer Rodriquez in our prayers.  If Patrick Alford Jr. is dead, may he rest in peace, we know he is in a much better place.
