Black Women, Essence Magazine ever lay off Hundreds, very sad for the history of Black Journalism!!


9   Back in the day, when Susan Taylor was Editor-in-Chief, we believe entire company was still solely operated under its' founder,  Clarence O. Smith.  Therefore, the employees would have been more likely to keep their jobs, possibly.   We could be wrong, but that is our opinion. 

Allegedly, Editor-in-Chief, Constance White is one of the employees whom are no longer employed for the legendary black magazine, according to Bossip.com.  

In the meantime, we will keep all of the former employees of Essence in our prayers.
