Black women, Detroit Mom released from prison after 7 years

Nicole Harris was charged for the murder of her son about 7 years ago, but now her case has been overturned because the trial was unfair.   Harris was sent to Dwight Correctional Center tin 2005, after being convicted of strangling her son with a bedsheet, according to MyFoxDetroit.com.  Now sisters, she is finally free and does not have to carry the guilt as being murderer of her own son.

It's very sad when no one wants to listen to your claim and falsely accuse you of something you did not do, but it is a part of life. When you are living upright as a black woman, people will make you out to be what you're not.   Like Nicole Harris, we face the worst sort of oppression as courageous black women, not just from white supremacist, but even from our own race.  We are so happy she has been set free, because there are so many of our sisters whom are still serving time for something they did not do.  Nicole Harris' story is one of faith and so, we believe God will intervene for the other black women whom have been placed in prison for something they are innocent of.

We praise God for Nicole Harris' freedom and may her son rest in peace.
