Celebrity News: Lawsuit Dismissed in Texas for custody of Jovan Belcher's child will continue in Missouri

Sisters, this is an update, regarding the late linebacker, Jovan Belcher who committed murder-suicide.  As we all know, his girlfriend's parents have been allegedly fighting to get custody of their grandchildren.   According to, the judges in both states held a conference call Thursday with lawyers for the two families. They agreed to dismiss the lawsuit filed in Texas by the maternal grandparents.

In our opinion, we think it is for the best interest for the child, if Kasandra's parents would just understand how difficult it is for Jovan Belcher's mother after the murder-suicide, simply because she was caring for baby Zoey at the time of the tragedy.  Therefore, the case will proceed in Missouri, so hopefully the judge will do what is best for Zoey and understand Cheryl Shepard was asked to care for her and had moved into the home, allegedlyIt must have been very difficult for her to give the baby to them after everything happened.

In the meantime, we will be praying for Cheryl Shepherd and baby Zoey, including Kasandra's parents.   May Shepherd's son, Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, Kasandra rest in peace.
