Black women, Elzina Brown Mother Takes Bullet For Daughter In Domestic Dispute

Not too many black mothers are brave like Elzina Brown who tried to protect her daughter Diamond Dunn, 22, from a bullet.   We are very sure God appreciates the few mothers who will go so far to protect their daughters whom are being physically abused by their boyfriends, husbands or any other man in their families.  It is such a shame Elzina is the first murder victim in the Bronx this year, simply because her daughter's boyfriend did not want peace.

Sisters, Elzina Brown died showing ultimate love for her daughter.   We as black women need to protect each other, whether we know each other or not.  The world is very cold and it seems as though we are the most hated females out of all races.  Furthermore, Brown's love for her daughter teaches us all a lesson, to be willing to die for those we conceive, even if it means giving up our own lives.  Unfortunately, some of our sisters are heartless and would rather protect themselves and be liked by our enemies.   Sisters, realize we are created fragile compared to men and if it means combating them to protect each other, let it be.

Thank God Diamond Dunn is going to be okay, according to NYDailyNews.com.  It is wonderful to realize, her mother's spirit lives through her.  At least, she will always remember, her mother died taking a bullet to protect her, this will keep her spiritually strong as she lives on without her.

In the meantime, our prayers are with Diamond Dunn and her 4-year-old daughter.  We pray her boyfriend, Raymond Mayrant repents for taking her mother's life and attempting to murder her.

May Elzina Brown rest in peace.
