Black women, Ex-Dallas cop Theadora Ross who stole thousands from Crime Stoppers sentenced to nearly four years in prison

Sisters, do you recall the story AT2W did about an ex-Dallas cop who allegedly stole thousands of dollars from Crime Stoppers?  Theadora Ross should seriously thank God, because originally she was facing up to 25 years in federal prison.   However, in addition to her sentencing, she has been ordered to pay $274,304 in restitution to the North Texas Crime Commission and the Internal Revenue Service. We hate to hear bad news about successful black women who messed up, but God can make life better after repentance.

Theadora Ross had worked and been a veteran for the Dallas police department 26 years and had been the head of giving financial rewards to people whom report crime.  According to Dallas News, Ross had a strategic way to steal her cash from Crime Stoppers,  Beginning in 2005 and through early 2010, Ross would give bogus tip information to an accomplice, Malva Delley, who collected cash rewards from the bank. The pair would split the money.   Ross could only do this for so long until investigators caught up with her scheme.

As black women, we have to seriously think about all of our sisters whom cannot even get qualified to work in a respectful profession such as a police officer or any other sort of decent career.   Theadora Ross took advantage of her position, and probably thought no one would suspect her, because of her long years as a police veteran.  However, the law is for everyone and it must have been very embarassing for anyone to be in the position to stop crime, but you were caught in the act of doing crime, yourself.  This is very sad Ross messed up her career, but the main thing is she has a future and she can always do better.   We hope she has learned from her criminal activity, so she can be a positive influence to the rest of our sisters whom are (ex)cons.  The same goes for Malva Delley, because she is not innocent just because she confessed about the scheme, after she was caught by investigators.   Life can be better for all black women who made wrong choices in their past, they just have to vow to never do it, again.

In the meantime, we will continue to keep Theodora Ross and her alleged accomplice, Malva Delley in our prayers, may God bless them both.
