Suspects sought after woman found shot to death in lounge: When Black Women are Harassed by their own race in Atlanta

This does not surprise us that this business owner was shot and killed in Atlanta, after possibly she was known for not only caring for her community, but excusing ignorant people whom sometimes caused a disturbance at O. T. Lounge and and Soul Food Grill.    In Atlanta, it seems like there is a hatred against strong willed women like Vanessa Elaine Thrasher and it is not just coming from some black men, but also some black women whom back them up.   A few of our journalists who lived there for a few years can recall how some successful black women were harassed by men, if they wanted nothing to do with them and they would even spread lies in the neighborhood to destroy their reputation.  It's very sad, it does not seem like nothing much has changed.

Many people of Atlanta continue to put on a facade like it is the greatest place for blacks to live, but it is not the safest place and they know it.   As a successful black woman, many times you have a lot of haters within the black race (both black men and black women) whom do not celebrate you, but they hate you because you mind your own business and do not put up with foolishness.   Many times these are the ones whom carry around an Obama banner on their vehicles as though they are so proud to have a black man in office, when knowing they have persecuted their own kind.

We feel very bad for this deceased victim, Vanessa Elaine Thrasher, but the way many people whom reside in Atlanta mistreat strong courageous women like her, it may not be the last fatal case.   Her friend allegedly stated they both were going to clean up the neighborhood, but it is so sad how some ignorant people in the black community never appreciate caring women.  Many times, it is those whom desire to make a better community whom end up dead, all because they do not tolerate disturbances and we hate this woman most likely became another statistic because of it.   In our opinion, Atlanta is no better than Detroit and it is not a safe place to live for any strong black woman like Vanessa.

May Vanessa Elaine Thrasher rest in peace and we pray her killers repent and surrender their souls to God before it is everlasting too late.

Suspects sought after woman found shot to death in lounge

Police are looking for two suspects following a shooting at a northwest Atlanta lounge that left one woman dead.
  
It happened early Thursday at O.T.'s Lounge and Soul Food Grill near New Jersey Avenue and Joseph E. Boone Boulevard.
  
Investigators say an officer patrolling the area heard gunshots around 2 a.m. They say he found a woman shot to death inside the lounge. Family members identified the victim as 40-year-old Vanessa Elaine Thrasher...Read full article, here.
