We wonder how certain people with a lot of money continue to reside in such a dangerous city, if those whom are low income are struggling to survive and remain safe in Detroit. To a certain extent, we blame wealthy African Americans whom are some gospel artists, politicians and some prominent ministers of Detroit. Often, we have heard some of these people brag about the city of Detroit, but it seems to be getting much worse as days go by. These are the sort of fortunate individuals enjoy their fortune, but may not be creating programs to assist people to turn their lives around. In our opinion, we feel they could do more to make it a better place. However, we do not live there, so we do not know what they have done to make Detroit a better place to live. However, if they were doing more to make the city better, it seems like we would hear about it in the media.
As we have mentioned before, the only way to get certain prominent individuals attention is when something happens to them as we have seen in the case with Pastor Marvin Winans. However, it does not have to occur, if there are citywide revivals and prayer meetings where true saints of God continue praying against the demon of murder that is taking lives in Detroit, Michigan.
For some strange reason, we feel Tamela Wells could be another statistic, but we will pray God keeps her safe wherever she maybe. In the meantime, we will pray for her kids and mother.
If you have seen Tamela Wells, please contact Detroit police at (313) 596-2200.
