Black Women Be encouraged by watching Olympic Gold Medalist Gabrielle Douglas on Oprah's Next Chapter

Black women of all ages, stay tuned to watch Gabby and her mother, Natalie Hawkins on the next upcoming Oprah's Next Chapter, Sunday night.  This is only a preview that shows what is in store for us.   Now, you will hear from her mother, what she had to say about her daughter's success.  Furthermore, on this snippet you will hear the Miss Hawkins' frustration of some ignorant people focusing on Gabby's hair, instead of being proud of her being the first African American woman to receive a gold medal as all-around gymnast.

Also, we want to really encourage all of you ladies to be inspired and take her success for your own life.   It is never to late for any of you to be successful at whatever you desire to do.  You may not be a gymnast, but there must be something in life you always wanted to do, but felt defeated as a black woman to achieve it.   No matter how old or how young you are, you need to watch Gabby Douglas on Oprah's Next Chapter.  God bless you.

Olympic gymnast Gabrielle "Gabby" Douglas won gold and the hearts of millions. Now, Oprah travels to West Des Moines, Iowa, to sit down with this 16-year-old gold medalist. Plus, Oprah meets Gabby's mother, Natalie; her three siblings; her coach, Liang Chow; and visits with her host family.
