Young Black Woman Killed By a Police Officer's Gun by accident, One Day Before Her Birthday

This young Detroit woman, Adaisha Miller did not even live to see her 25th birthday.  She was at a house party and embraced a police officer from behind when his gun went off, instantly killing her.   He was off duty at a relative's house, according to our source.   Miller's parents are grieving and cannot understand why this police officer had his gun on him while off duty.   They lost their daughter, one day before her birthday.  This is so unfair and we feel he was very careless and does not deserve his job.  A life is gone and he could not ever give her back to her parents, all because he shouldn't have had his gun on him.

We want to forewarn all of our dear sisters to be very careful whom you approach.   It is very sad this young lady was not thinking and just was so happy to socialize and be in the presence of a gathering, but now she will not ever get a chance to celebrate her 25th birthday.  She was young and was enjoying life without ever thinking about this officer's gun hurting her when she went to hug him.

As black women of all ages, we risk our lives when we do not think before we approach.  Of course, we are not blaming this poor victim, but we are encouraging you to sometimes be slow to approach anyone, especially a police officer whom has a gun on or off duty.   Possibly, this police officer was showing off, we do not think he was afraid of anyone as what Miller's mother allegedly assumed.   We just think a lot of cops want to show off they have so much authority, even when they are not at work, because it did not make sense for him to show up at this house party with his gun.

May Adaisha Miller rest in peace with Jesus and we pray for God to give her parents strength during their time of bereavement.
