Pregnant Woman Killed in Drive-By Shooting in Miami Gardens: It's Time for Black Women To Stop Dying Before Their Time

When we think about all the civil rights leaders who died on the behalf of African Americans in the history of America, because of racial discrimination, they probably would never even imagine black on black crime.  The murder of this young woman, Angelese S. Ladson is very sad, she died while pregnant.   Young black women have been shot dead while being caught in a cross-fire around the country, this sort of crime just does not happen in Miami Gardens.   The question is, 'did Anglese S. Ladson have to die before her time?'

This story breaks our hearts, because every time a black woman gets killed in this country, the more hatred we witness among black women.   The hatred we feel from some black men are somewhat irrelevant, because God expects for us to love ourselves and each other, regardless of the lack of love we receive from them.   Anglese Ladson did not have to die before her time, but she is among many others gone too soon.   What is it going to take for black women to acknowledge how many are leaving this earth, because of failed relationships, robberies, drugs and drive-by shootings?    We come into this earth just like any other race of women, we grow up from babies, live through our teen years, then become adults, not to die before our time, which is just not God's will.   The problem with many of our sisters is this, they hear about a tragedy, then they think, 'oh what a shame', but then a couple of days later, there is no love given to someone else, there is still a lot of animosity and jealousy.   While we are still here, we must go back to the morals and values of our fore-mothers who were not free, but they believed in God and feared Him.   You see, when you fear God, you learn to love and respect each other, including yourself. You do not do what is displeasing in His sight nor will you purposely offend others.  We have a responsibility to give love, regardless of what immature black woman does not want to give it in return.   Of course, it is very difficult to be around other black women whom are so cold and have no conscious to how they attack you with such ugly words, but we must remember, we live in an age when black women are yet dying all sorts of ways.   If AIDS cannot cause some stubborn black women to love each other, then what will change our rebellious sisters?  Only God abiding in our spirits, but you must be willing to invite Him into your life.

When we watched this video, we saw how deceased Anglese S. Ladson's boyfriend did not even look up and face the camera, when the reporter asked, if this drive-by shooting may have been a target for him.  You see, as black women we have to be careful whom we get in a relationship with.  If her boyfriend was involved with selling drugs or dealing with some illegal business, then Ladson's life was automatically in danger.  This is our advice to you, be very careful what man you choose to be with, because if he is not a born again Christian, no telling what package the Devil has waiting to end your life early.  However, in order to meet a righteous man, you have to be willing to accept Jesus Christ into your life.  God cannot bless black women to have good men in their lives, unless they honor Him.

May Anglese S. Ladson rest in peace and our prayers are with her family.

Dear sisters, are you saved?   Do you know the Lord, Jesus Christ as your personal Savior?   If not, would you like to accept Him into your life?   Because one thing is for sure, other black women may mistreat you, but God can make you a changed woman. Even better God will give you such a new life, He will protect you. You will know how to prepare yourself for a good man and God will bless you to live a long life, but you've got to live for Him.  You must be willing to let go of sin, obey each and every commandment and live a holy and righteous life.   If this is you, please go right now to our Salvation page and allow the Lord to come and abide inside of you.  Jesus loves you so much and He has the key to make your life better.
